Loyola Academy is a week-long workshop focused on environmental issues in our community. Every year the project focuses on a different environmental issue we face as a community. Science and Design students and professors from Loyola University New Orleans use their knowledge, research, and connections with local experts, activists, and community organizations to design and implement the Loyola Academy. The workshop educates all participants about the processes of scientific and design thinking and how to apply them to the selected environmental issue.
