Through generous funding from Entergy, AT&T, and Louisiana Environmental Education Commission, Loyola University New Orleans hosts Loyola Academy in the hopes of understanding the social, cultural, and ecological implications of how New Orleans citizens approach environmental issues like how to manage living with water. With this funding, participants are able to enjoy learning the processes of scientific process and design thinking while traveling around the city to see first hand solutions to environmental problems,  allowing them to fully engage with the workshop and disseminate what they learn to others in the community.
